Position requires one (1) year of work experience in the offered position, Software Engineer, or in a closely related occupation performing following: Developing UI using HTML, CSS, JavaScript and JQuery; Participating in product design and architecture discussions; Deploying applications into WebLogic application server; Developing services using REST API in Java; Designing and developing Amazon EC2, Amazon S3, Amazon RDS, Amazon SWF, Amazon SQS, and other services of the AWS infrastructure; and Implementing infrastructure setup using AWS Route53 and S3. Position also requires knowledge of the following: Computer Systems Security, Computer Systems Architecture, Management Information Systems, Information System Infrastructure, Current & Emerging Technology, and Disaster Recovery Planning.

Take charge of leading the design, development, analysis, testing, implementation, and maintenance of tailored software solutions and applications. Collaborate with architects and product owners to prioritize the technology backlog and define business requirements. Support and mentor team members to help them achieve their objectives and improve their performance. Actively participate in planning and estimation sessions, working closely with product owners and architects.

Own exception-based issue reporting, ensuring timely resolution of critical issues. Partner with QA teams and product owners to ensure that acceptance criteria are well-defined and consistently met. Provide frequent updates on progress and performance to stakeholders. Lead product design and architecture discussions to ensure scalable and efficient solutions.

Monitor business-critical applications to maintain high availability and performance. Drive the design and implementation of web applications that align with product requirements. Write clean, maintainable code that adheres to industry best practices and agreed-upon standards. Conduct code reviews to maintain code quality across the team.

Continuously improve team productivity and efficiency through process enhancements. Ensure the release of stable, high-quality software that meets agreed performance and reliability metrics.
